What happens when you take a diverse group of somebodies who have completed SAK Comedy Lab's University classes and now want to share their funny... why MALLRATZ IMPROV, of course!
We are a group of friends from all walks of life, who met through SAK University. Some of us started our improv journey at SAK, others had prior industry experience. Like all improv troupes, we bonded through this wonderful, silly, and joyful art form.
We remained friends following our SAK training and continued to meet weekly thanks to the incredible generosity of Studio Lot Orlando (thank you Justine and Beth). As we met, we realized we had something beyond friendship and chemistry; as it turns out, we were funny!
That was when our fearless Leader of the Ratz, our Commander in Cheeze, the Ratz Rangler herself, Darnell Kreuzer, took on the reigns of MallRatz Leader extraordinaire and herded us crazy catz to our first performance at Theater West End in March 2024.
And the rest, as they say, is...
